Three
months before you are 65 you should sign up for Medicare. You have
until three months after you turn 65. It is quick and easy, but if
you miss this time frame, things become a lot more complicated.
You
don't have to sign up for Social Security Retirement Benefits at the
same time as you sign up for Medicare, but you can do both at the
same time.
